New master’s program aims at developing leadership skills

The University’s College of Business Administration is launching its Master of Science in Ethical Leadership, which is designed for individuals seeking a leadership role in business, government, nonprofits, educational institutions and more.

The 30-credit graduate program beginning in fall 2022 requires no pre-requisite coursework and is open to those with undergraduate degrees in any discipline. Courses are available online and during the evening. More than half of the program consists of electives chosen by the student, including courses in psychology, healthcare, engineering and business.

The Master of Ethical Leadership program develops essential leadership skills, including:

  • An ethical and social responsibility perspective for making decisions.
  • Preparation for leading in various organizational contexts.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • The ability to collaborate in a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment to achieve organizational objectives.
