See you at Homecoming!

Students, alumni, employees and their friends are all invited to join the festivities at the University’s Homecoming scheduled for Sept. 29-30 at Detroit Mercy’s McNichols Campus.

Two days of events — from games and tours to informational sessions to a battle of high school marching bands — are planned and attendees will be sure to find something just for them.

Among the highlights are a bike tour of the historic areas surrounding the McNichols Campus, a men’s soccer game, a noncompetitive alumni kickball game, a taping of Detroit Mercy’s long-running show Ask the Professor, and a readers theatre performance.

The main event is a Fall Festival beginning at 5 p.m. featuring hayrides, bubble soccer, a rock wall, food trucks, craft tent, scavenger hunt and petting zoo all located in the heart of campus at the Fisher Fountain. Once it gets dark, a bonfire will be lit and attendees will be able to celebrate the Titan athletic teams. This will be followed by a Stroll Off competition.

Also included in the weekend’s events, are a KBG Reunion Lunch, a 50th reunion for the Class of 1973 and the presentation of this year’s Spirit Awards Alumni Achievement awards.
