Certificate in Nursing Education
Description
The Nurse Educator Certificate Program at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà is a 14-credit program that provides qualified nurses with the opportunity to gain specialized training in areas such as curriculum development, instructional methods, program planning, and evaluation. Nurses that are interested in careers in nursing education or staff development, will benefit from the knowledge and skills they will gain from the program.
Admission Criteria
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing or another field.
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75.
- A minimum of 2000 hours as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Official transcripts from each institution of higher education attended.
- One letter of professional recommendation from someone in a supervisory capacity.
- Current resume or professional CV.
- An autobiographical statement of personal goals and objectives.
- An interview with graduate faculty.
