Dylenski Family Travel Grants for Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà full-time students studying abroad through CLAE-based programs.

Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà students studying full time in majors or minors offered through the College of Liberal Arts & Education (CLAE) are eligible to apply for a monetary award that can offset travel costs associated with participating in an internationally-based experience offered through CLAE. The award sponsor, Jamie Dylenski -- an alumna of the College of Liberal Arts and Education -- established this award in 2008 with her family to help underrepresented students enrolled in CLAE-based programs achieve their goals of studying abroad while at the university. CLAE-based programs supported by this grant include Brazil, China, Cuba, and India (although not all programs run annually). Awards also extend to CLAE students traveling through an Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) shared-partner program. Students applying for a Dylenski Travel Grant must be enrolled in credit-bearing coursework offered as part of the international experience. Due dates vary. Contact Dacia Williams in the Financial Aid office at williadn@udmercy.edu to request an application or to inquire more about the Dylenski awards.
