Thank you for your interest in pursuing a master's or doctorate degree at Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Below you will find some frequently asked questions about the graduate admission process.

    What types of programs does Detroit Mercy offer?

    We are the most comprehensive independent University in the state, offering nearly 100 academic programs, including more than 70 graduate programs like nursing, architecture, engineering, business, law and dentistry (just to name a few).

    When will I receive an admission decision? When and how will I be notified?

    Your admissions counselor will notify you when your file is complete and ready for review. A typical admission decision will be made within one week and students are contacted by their admission counselor. The timeline for admission decisions varies by academic program, as some programs have specific deadlines or require an admissions committee to review files.

    Can I visit campus?

    Visiting campus is an important step in the college selection process. Graduate students need to see and hear, in person, about the opportunities a school has to offer.

    When do I register for classes?

    Your admissions counselor will provide you with the contact information for your academic advisor once you have been admitted. Your academic advisor will meet with you to discuss your educational goals and will plan an appropriate class schedule for you to register for classes.
