Overview: Underneath the starlit sky, as the campers drift off to sleep and the lake whispers its lullabies, it's time for the counselors to unwind. But amidst the tranquility, there's an undercurrent of tension. What awaits in the morning to keep camp fun and safe? The news hints at something sinister, something lurking beyond the forest’s edge. Grab a s’more and join Detroit Mercy Theatre Company as we present The Grown Ups, a dark satire about a group of camp counselors thrust into a struggle to shape the leaders of tomorrow amidst looming uncertainty and fraught relationships.
This play contains adult themes and language, and is not recommended to those under the age of 13.
The Grown Ups runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

Led by Genevieve E. Meyers, Ph.D. of Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ’s Department of Political Science and presented as part of the Detroit Theatre Discussion Project.
